There's a festival gig been confirmed for Friday 12th, in Estonia. Does this increase or decrease the chances of a slot at Download this year?

If I remember righty, wasn't last years DL appearance preceeded by some other festival dates the same weekend.

My thing is now then, does this mean we get a 2nd stage headline on Saturday (when Slipknot are on mainstage) or a decent Sunday afternoon slot on mainstage under Def Leppard, Whitesnore and ZZ Top. My nightmare scenario would be Sunday night on 2nd stage, clashing with Leppard.

Let's hope for news soon.

Personally, i'm hoping for them to turn up at Sonisphere cos that's what i've booked up for.

Apparently there's a campsite stage where bands will play into the night after the headliners have finished. The Wildhearts did a similar thing at HRH last year didn't they? Played after headliners Black Label Society?

Heck, i just want the 'Hearts to play EVERY festival this year!

Yep, I'm booked for that too. But I think we're going to do Download as well.
How dare you!

Yep, play every UK festival this year, then head down to oz and play all the 2010 summer festivals (with a suitable number of sideshows of course).

Please? Pretty please??? :D

following on from my nighmare scenario being a clash between Wildhearts & Def Leppard, the dream scenario would be Motley Crue, Wildhearts & Buckcherry on 2nd stage on Saturday night. :D
