Jason Ringenberg

Got my signed copy of Jason Ringenbergs Best of in the post today :D

Loving the two tracks with the Wildies, one less heartache is a stomper of a track, plus once deemed 'lost' track jimmie rodgers last blue yodel is a really cool addition

Plus with my secret liking of 'country music' i'm really enjoying the album

Would recommend it without the wildhearts connection, but with it it's a must

To what level are the wildhearts involved in two of the new Ringenburg tracks?

Ginger, CJ, Danny and Stidi provide the rock; Jason sings and blows some nifty harmonica. The tracks were recorded in May 2001 and were the first recorded fruits of the band's reunion era.

One Less Heartache is a Jason/Ginger co-write. It originally appeared on Jason's 2002 album All Over Creation.

Jimmie Rodgers' Last Blue Yodel is a Jimmie Rodgers song (no, really), though this version takes its inspiration from Jason & The Scorchers' rocked-up cover.

An article about the recording of both tracks is on The Wildhearts' website. This link will take you straight there.

The new album is available from Jason's website as of today. Like it says: "Ordering Best Tracks & Side Tracks from the official Jason Ringenberg online store is by far the best way to support Jason and his music. And just like on the road, Jason is more than happy to personally sign and dedicate your CD on request."

Go grab one. :D

Any info if Ginger might rejoin the Scorchers again, whether for a one-off or any kind of project? Just curious. I know he's a big country fan.

Well there is a vacancy for a frontman in that band...
