I've got to man for Crue, Maiden and VR. The Wildhearts as well would make it shit on last year

I'm seeing all those bands headline in London, so I don't really need to pay huge amounts of money to stand in a field (quite possibly in the cold & rain) and get massively ripped off for beer/food on top as well as probably putting up with shite sound. There aren't really any other bands on the bill at Download this year I'd cross the street to see.

Fair point lads, but it'd be nice to cross those bands off my list if you know what I mean

You're talking utter bollocks,I was at the Crue gig at Manchester arena and they were superb. So Vince is not the greatest live vocalist granted but they are still an awesome live band.I will be at Manchester Apollo next month for another dose.

Back on topic,I think we would know by now if The Wildhearts were playing Download.Apart from Motley Crue,Turbonegro and Dimmu Borgir,it's a terrible line up and how the ticket price is justified I will never know.

There is an interview with CJ and Scott ona MYSPACE site saying they have no plans for UK festivals maybe a couple in Japan but thats it until a tour near the end of the year if my memory serves me correctly.
