Oh. I didn't realise it was Single Of The Week.

I've been listening to Alice Cooper this week instead of Phill. Bloody typical.

Is Howling Willie (to use the abbreviated name) Ginger in disguise?

Odd choice to do a single now, when there's a new album out in three months!

Great news, its good to release a single now to raise awareness of him and his solo stuff before the release of Yoni so that that will do better....
Why not release a Yoni single? Well it would be a shame if a great album like Valor Del Corazon just dissapeared from attention a couple months after its release until its replacement with a new album a year later....
Plus we should now get that video on tv channels now which should help gain more new fans...

I'm thinking that both would be a good idea. This first, then something off Yoni in mid-December to follow up and hopefully get some sort of momentum going.

Maybe the 'shared single' thing is a cunning ploy to make people think there's more than just GInger on Round Records. :?

this may sound wierd, although I'm looking forward to the single coming out and stuff, I in a way hope that Ginger doesn't get really big, 'cos I kinda liked having his bands that are so great, fairly unheard of. Even though he deserves to be huge, I like the fact he isn't.. if you get me.. but yeh looking forward to this, gonna get the vinyl hopefully :D.

I strongly urge all those reading not to start the the "...hope he doesn't get big" argument again, or I won't be responsible for my actions.

I'd love to see him headlining Wembley. Tomorrow. Yep, before it even reopens properly.

I know exactly what you mean. I had the same experience with Metallica, got to see them plenty from 1990 to 1996, then they just went so massive that they only do festivals in this country.
Thing is I can't really stand festivals, too big, too impersonal and so bloody expensive for a small number of bands that I like.
The Gosforth Gathering would have been perfect if it had come off, there were 10 bands on there that I would have liked to have seen, and at £32 a ticket, well, £3.20 to see a band you like, you just can't go wrong. And who knows, there just might have been a few more bands on there that I could have gotten into.
