We'llbe parking in the St. Enoch Square car park and heading to the closest bar for a pre gig pint or two. Think doors open at 7:30pm at the Bastille. There'll be three of us.....I suspect that two of us will be sporting Wildhearts Ts.

Best bet is the 13th note or mono down that way. If its a nice day I am going from work right to mono as it has a great beer garden. And the best beer.

There is RG's (or RJ's - Something like that on Queen St) and the Solid on Hope St.

Or you could go to Fat Boab's - across from St Enoch Underground station - I went drinking there with Danny and Chris McCormack as well as Paul Grant from 3CR when the Yo-Yo's & 3CR played the barfly in September.

That was quite surreal - given that it's basiclaly an old man's pub!

Last couple of times I've been in there the beer was awful :(

The mono beer garden sounds like a plan, Rosie's in Glasgow at the mo and says the weather is stunning 8)

Edit: Wow, is that really my first post here? Hello everyone :D

Is it the Mono in King's Court? If so, they make their own ginger beer, someone has to tell Ginger :D

I went in there with the 2 mates I was with when I went to see Velvet Revolver's pre Download warm up at the SECC last year.

I was never so happy to get out of a pub in my life, it was like The Slaughtered Lamb on American Werewolf in London, everything stopped and turned towards us, I swear the jukebox even went quiet for a moment!!!!!................ and then we made it onto Sauchiehall Street, oh jesus, take me home!!! :( :(

Aye mono can be a bit strange as it is a vegan reastraunt and a cd shop with a bar. Countless times I have been in and got pished and got a whole load of cds. if its crap the 13th note is just round the corner.

Anyone got a photo of Ginger on the fire escape / in the doorway at the Glasgow gig and would you mind sharing with a digitally compromised fan?

Cheers

I've got one....a little on the dark side but it's quite amusing. I'll be (somehow) posting the pics from Glasgow shortly....I have some really good ones.

Keith.
