Ahh, but Connie was there! As was the rest of Hanoi Rocks by the look of and how many of them graced the stage last night :)

What a gig...

No, just a really high stage - the kind you walk away from staring up at the ceiling cos your neck has *stuck* in that position!

Tell me about it - I'd swear they've added about a foot to it since last time.

That's why they don't need a barrier - you need the help of the band to actually climb up there in the first place, so no chance of a stage invasion.

Nah, that wasn't Conny... It was just a look-alike. The real Conny would never be uncool enough to let his geetar strap snap mid-song. And he clearly didn't know how to wield a flying 'V' without the head plummeting earthwards, hardly the actions of a true rock god!!

How come he was there? We saw him walk in, but weren't totally sure it was him. Did the other gig get cancelled or something?

The fact that he nearly whacked members of the audience over the head with his guitar on multiple occasions was very un-Conny like! But I *think* I'm right in saying it wasn't his own gear that he was using...

Because Twisted Sister weren't playing, the Hanoi gig finished early enough for Conny to dash across town and make it - hence the late doors opening to give him enough time. Great performance all things considered. I did find it slightly surreal when Andy McCoy tried to steal the limelight at the end though...

Weren't? Think you mean 'were' - either that or it was the longest, most detailed hallucination I've ever had

I certainly do mean 'were' - unfortunately, being permanently pissed for a week means that the typing skills suffer slightly! lol
