London Drinkies?

Short notice, I know, but is anyone planning to meet up before the gig?

Anyone recommend a half decent ale house near the venue? I'm probably going to have some time to kill waiting for my mate before the gig... (I always say this, and I always end up stuck in traffic on the way down, but hey, ever the optimist...)

Jase and I will be rolling up when the parking restrictions lift, so will probably just lurk in the venue. You can usually get in there early for a drink anyway - if not there's a pub about a minute's walk down the road that also does food, can't for the life of me remember the name of it though (sorry!).

Well the venue is a pub, so not really any need to meet anywhere else before hand for drinks unless you need something to eat? Of course there is a Mucky D's just round the corner opposite Kings Cross station, but that won't be to everyone's taste...

I get into King's Cross at about 5pm - meeting my brother at about 5:30 and we'll probably just loiter in the general area. Food is *definitely* a good idea, as anyone who's been out drinking with him will confirm ;-)

See, now that's quite handy. See you all there! :D

This evening I'll be mostly wearing my Sugarplumfairies t-shirt. :D

beerofthedark - I'm picking up tickets from the box office too, I hope...

Box office is possibly *slightly* too exotic a description - unless the place has had a radical overhaul, it's more likely to be someone with a sheet of paper perched at a table just inside the door :)

will be collecting 'tickets' from the lady/gent with the piece of paper by the door too.
Also will have 1 spare if anyone wants it. (14 quid)
Anyone know anyone who needs a ticket? Will be there from about 7:30. text me on 07789 176107 and i'll call you back. Ta.
