Pretty poor to be honest
the sound quality was horrible tonight I dont know why Ginger didnt use an accoustic ( as the Eureka machine set sounded incredible )
using a clean but dull electric sound really didnt help
the first hour of the set was extremely down tempo and pretty much stayed at one level
and just when things started to really pick up the show ended
it was still fun and Ginger was great as usual
but probably the worst Ginger gig I'v seen

ho hum

I'm glad I went to Blackpool instead then - even if it IS further away, it's guaranteed to rock at riffs :)

I must have been at a different gig cause i thought it was great. The foot stomping percussion was interesting, but the variety in the set was a joy.

Each to there own i guess

Better floor in Manchester. But I still preferred Sheffield. That Scott fellow really is quite good isn't he? Even if he does pull funny faces when he's playing.

Also I saw Conny again in the crowd - were my eyes deceiving me? Am I seeing him everywhere now? And is this a bad thing?

how can you fault a gig with that variety? and quite a bit of enthusiasm from the crowd, although I can't understand why wearing a yellow t-shirt and being over 6 foot would cause such consternation for those behind me......sorry! and our 4 year old daughter has watched the girls better than boys mobile phone recording clip about 20 times so far!

When's the next tour?

haha I can assure you that guy isnt conny!
he's always at rock gigs in manchester
no guesses who he takes his image from though
however I dont think he'd be stood in front of me buying a ticket if he was the real deal

I enjoyed the gig, the only thing bad about it was the positioning of the amps. Couldn't hear Ginger's vocals too well, but it was good fun.

The Eureka Machines were fantastic, very good music, well rehersed, great banter and fantastic shoes!

Rory McKee was in the wrong place with the wrong songs. Talented guy, wrong gig.

Is this lucky fella one of our fellow posters?

Conny is on tour with Hanoi Rocks and was playing in Glasgow on 26th.

Yeah, I found that out after. It was weird because he was at the Sheffield gig the night before because they were playing just down the road. Then I thought I saw him in Manchester so I just figured they were either playing the same town again or he had a day off so he'd showed up. S'ok though, I have been to have my eyes tested today. I will have to check he is the genuine Conny close up before any other mistaken sightings!
