Erm...has anyone got theirs yet?

My local HMV had some on order (2 was their allocation to be precise) so i booked mine up when I went in on Boxing Day only to find they'd not had their stock delivered yet. I'm still waiting. I have called a couple of times ony to be told they are still waiting for their delivery to be sent to them.

Anyone else had problems or is it just me and my HMV in chav-ville?

if it's like most of the HMV's ive tried to order from in the past they will eventually tell you the order was cancelled.

Every time I hear of any of the bands that are related to the wildhearts are realeasing something, then I go straight to Cargo these days, as much as I've NEVER been let down by HMV for anything that is already out there, I just don't trust them to come up with the goods on pre ordered stuff for the bands I like, which, to be honest, are never gonna be HUGE in that sense, so will go largely ignored cos they won't ship thousands

I'm still waiting for mine from HMV even though I pre-ordered it well before Christmas - they are cheaper than Cargo but they do seem to be pretty useless. Or maybe it's Cargo that are useless at actually distributing to shops? :?

Mine finally arrived from HMV today, with a sticker on it showing that I ordered it over a month ago.

Top quality tunage as usual though! :D

"we took fucking ages so we thought we'd let you know, just in case you forgot what a bunch of cnuts we really are. order something from xcraptor next time and you'll have it for you know it."

Off the subject slightley, has anyone worked out the lyrics for How Legends Love yet?

It's an amazing song, but would be truly amazing if the pieces of the jigsaw were finally put in place.

Thanx :D

Got mine from ST Records in Dudley. They didn't have it on the day of release but a little over a week later they called me to say it was in stock. It's lovely to go into a shop and buy a record that you really want. They also do mail order so give them a call, they're a great bunch. 01384 230726. Hope I get a discount now...

As for the songs, roll on Market Harbour!

Well what a surprise....just had a call to say my single is FINALLY in...one month late...but as it's my birthday today I'm going to let myself believe it was a deliberate attempt from my local HMV to give me a present (I know that's not really the case, but the older you get, the less presents you get so I'm trying to make the single even more special than it was before lol)

I've had loads of problems historically ordering things through HMV. Unfortunately, as with a lot of the big music stores, their staff base isn't one who is passionate about music - but more so students who could be selling absolutely anything. I've found that Virgin have been much more helpful in the past, and speaking to people who work there they are acutally asked about music as part of the interview..... that said I do tend to order via Amazon these days.
