Decent review goes on to say how ginger is can let himself go more on solo records more than Wildhearts stuff, Name checks rivers cuomo and ginger's only contemperery that can ' pick memorable hooks seemingly off the shelf'
Only negative was that the reviewer felt some of the songs were over long naming 'jake' as one..

And theres me thinking that "Karwrong" were back on Ginger's side.
For me 'Jake' is the best song on the album and short by about 7mins !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh well lets hope for a better Wildhearts review..

3/5 from Kerrang is alright. The fact of the matter is they said it was good, and most people who read kerrang know that anything they give 3/5 is actually really worth owning because the stuff they give 4/5 is usually over hyped shit.

Algebra can bite my arse lol
but seriously 2K usually means it's either gonna be passable or wank, 3k usually means it's really really worth owning, and 4k usually means that it's a pretty good album. Wildhearts/ginger/backyard babies/wolfsbane/anything our crowd usually likes usually gets 3k, taking back sunday, my chemical romance, and simple plan usually get 4k lol

Still it´s quite amazing that Kerrang actually still features Ginger at all.
Other bands vanished completely as far as K. is concerend (Tyla, Almighty, Quireboys, Thunder, Terrorvision...).
Well, it´s been crap since ´96-´97.
In fact, ever since the WH split I had no reason buying it.

The thing is, it seems such an antiquated notion now to have to wait on weekly magazines to actually update us on the movements of our favourite loons.
I think that in the near future we'll all be able to wear goggles which input directly from a 300 Ghz per nanosecond optic nerve download from Ginger's own eyeballs, and be able to bitch instantaneously about our own lack of enthusiasm for the lyric he's written mere seconds before. We'll be able to watch Ginger watching ourselves watching Ginger as a gig happens (see the whole crowd sway and sprint in a mirror to Ginger's own eye movements as we know almost before he does where to throw the plectrum). We'll be able to download suggestions of new setlists into Ginger's own Terminator-like cybernetic eyeball overlay mid-gig, and then argue over whether Scott Sorry just hit a bum note and if Random Jon's fingers should be downloaded into Scott's arms for the rest of the song . Or something.

Just saw this somewhere, guessing its recently considering how laughably high certain Kerrang favorites are.
And whos in at 86...
Or has everyone already seen this..
