Dunno why the crowd was so quiet, it certainly wasn't last week for Therapy? It's also never been quiet for any Wildhearts show up here either.
There was so much going wrong on stage that I can't see how any crowd could have made a difference.
Why was the monitor shit for Ginger? Why could we hardly hear his guitar? Why was the snare drum the loudest thing on stage? Why was there a loud droning feedback sound throughout? Why didn't the microphone work properly?
For fucks sake it was a microphone, it's hardly rocket science is it???? Surely it's someones job to make sure these things don't happen?
People can blame the crowd all they want but that's just blinkered.
Yeah the sound problems didn't help at all last night, I was right at the front with my gf to the right near the bass player all I could hear at times was the snare, no bass, occasional guitar from Ginger, a lot of guitar from Jase. The lads battled on, I been through the times when Ginger would have walked off & thought fuck it but fair play for carrying on. Like someone said in a previous post if a mic is fucked swap it (not rocket science).
