It lived up to its name, certainly was a sonic circus - excellent line-up. A very polished sound, and everyone looked to be enjoying it. Best bits for me were the singalongs on Ten Flaws Down and My Friend the Enemy and the guitars on Drinkin in the Daytime. One of the loudest and most harmonious 'don't worry bout me's' led to a good encore with a classic 29x's to finish. Wasnt aware there was a sax player until the end tho - didnt think the sax and the percussion realy came through very loud - could just be the amount of red stripe I drank tho.
Can't wait to see them again. I wouldnt go as far as saying 'who needs the Wildhearts' but if faced with a choice of 2 gigs at the minute it would be Sonic Circus again.
